中山大学粤港澳发展研究院接受国外短期高级访问学者的启事
为实施“区域发展研究全球学术网络行动计划”，构建开放、多元、可持续的国际学术交流体系，中山大学粤港澳发展研究院（以下简称“研究院”）特设立国外短期高级访问学者岗位。该岗位与研究院境外访问学者项目（1-3个月）互为补充，共同提升研究院在国际区域研究领域的学术影响力与话语权。
为做好国外短期高级访问学者的邀请接收工作，现将启事公布如下：
To advance the Global Academic Network Initiative for Regional Development Studies and foster an inclusive and sustainable platform for international scholarly exchange, the Institute of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Development Studies (hereinafter “the Institute ”) at Sun Yat-sen University is pleased to launch the International Senior Short-Term Visiting Scholar Program.
Designed to complement the Institute’s existing Overseas Visiting Scholar Program (1–3 months), this initiative aims to bring leading scholars from around the world to Guangzhou, foster meaningful academic dialogue and collaboration, and further strengthen the Institute’s international profile in regional studies and related fields.
The details of the program are provided below.
一、访问学者岗位类别
国外短期高级访问学者，特指受研究院邀请来院开展15天及以下短期驻院研究交流的国外高校或研究机构的知名学者。
1. Program category
The International Senior Short-Term Visiting Scholar Program is intended for distinguished scholars from overseas universities and research institutions who are invited by the Institute to undertake short-term residential visits of up to 15 days for research and academic exchange.
二、访问驻院地点
1.中山大学南校园粤港澳发展研究院。地址：广州市新港西路135号中山大学文科楼6-8楼。
2.研究院（深圳）: 广东省深圳市南山区南山街道梦海大道5073号前海合作区华海金融创新中心（前海国际人才港）B栋10层1001-1单元。
3.中山大学人文社会科学研究院粤港澳研究团队办公室，地点：深圳市光明区公常路66号中山大学深圳校区文学园5栋。
2. Host Institution and Location
(1) Guangzhou Office: Floors 6–8, Wenke Lou Building, Institute of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Development Studies, Sun Yat-sen University (South Campus), No. 135 Xingang Xi Road, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.

三、访问期限
1.访问时长：原则上不超过15天（含抵离日期）。
2.具体访问时间由研究院与访问学者协商确定，一般安排在每年3-6月或9-12月。
3. Duration of Visit
Visits are normally limited to a maximum of 15 days, including arrival and departure dates.
Visit dates will be arranged in consultation with the visiting scholar and are typically scheduled during March–June or September–December.
四、访问期间工作要求
访问学者在访学期间，应至少完成以下工作任务：
1.学术报告。在研究院开设学术讲座1次（“粤港澳发展高端讲坛”或相关学术活动）；
2.学术交流（二选一）：（1）与研究院教师开展学术交流座谈，围绕共同感兴趣的研究方向进行深度研讨；（2）与研究院研究生举行学术交流会，分享研究方法、前沿动态或学术发表经验。
4. Academic Activities
During the visit, scholars are expected to undertake the following activities:
(1) Public Lecture
Deliver one public lecture at the Institute on a topic related to the scholar’s area of expertise.
(2) Scholarly Exchange (Choose at least one)
Option A: Participate in a roundtable discussion with faculty members of the Institute and engage in in-depth discussions on topics of mutual research interest.
Option B: Meet with students of the Institute for an academic exchange session, discussing theoretical approaches, research methods, emerging scholarly trends, or experiences in academic publishing.
五、申请条件
研究院接受国外短期访问学者应具备以下基本条件：
1.在国外高校或研究机构从事教学科研工作，具有博士学位或副教授及以上专业技术职务；
2.研究领域为哲学社会科学研究领域，优先考虑粤港澳发展、区域研究方向；
3.能用英文或中文进行学术交流；
4.身心健康，遵守中国法律法规及中山大学相关规章制度。
5. Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Be engaged in teaching and/or research at an overseas university or research institution, and hold a doctoral degree or an academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or above;
- Conduct research in the humanities and social sciences, with preference given to scholars whose research focuses on area studies or Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao development.
- Be able to communicate effectively in English or Chinese in academic settings;
- Be in good health and willing to comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the policies of Sun Yat-sen University.
六、经费支持
研究院为国外短期访问学者提供国际往返旅费（经济舱）、住宿费、伙食补助费、市内交通费等经费支持，具体标准按研究院相关规定。
6. Financial Support
The Institute will provide financial support for visiting scholars, including:
- International round-trip airfare (economy class);
- Accommodation;
- Meal allowances;
- Local transportation expenses.
All support will be provided in accordance with the Institute’s relevant policies and regulations.
七、提供服务
1.提供来华手续支持，包括：提供邀请函和相关协议、协助学者办理经费报销手续；
2.提供访学期间的办公设施；
3.提供访学期间基本生活信息；
4.协助访问学者在广州或深圳期间的机场接待、校园引导、学术活动记录等工作。
7. Institutional Support
The Institute will provide visiting scholars with a range of administrative, academic, and logistical support services, including:
- Invitation letters and other necessary documents for travel to China;
- Assistance with reimbursement procedures and honorarium payments in accordance with University regulations;
- Office space and access to basic research facilities during the visit;
- Information and guidance regarding daily life and local services in Guangzhou;
- Logistical assistance, including airport reception, campus orientation, and coordination and documentation of academic activities.
